The Percival Guildhouse (in Rugby) is one of only a handful of independent adult education centres still in existence. It was founded in 1925 however the history of adult education in the UK goes back much further. Thanks to a grant from the Lottery Heritage Fund we are able to start cataloguing and digitising our archive collection
The pages of the website will eventually comprises various material of historical interest extracted from the Percival Guildhouse archives. The website is still under construction - but is expected to be complete by September 2026.

There will be a series of open days at the Guildhouse between 12-21 September 2025 where you will be able to use archive material from the Guildhouse to explore aspects of 20th century history.
The Rugby Art Gallery & Museum (RAGM) exhibition will be taking place from 4-14 June 2025. You can find us on the 1st floor gallery.
